Gabriela Marquina
Gabriela Marquina is a screenwriter, director, and editor. Her work is defined by an intimate, authorial visual language. Salir del cuerpo was part of the Official Selection at 7SIFF. She directs music videos where storytelling takes a central role. In 2023, she founded Laguna Visual, the production company behind this work. Through Laguna, she develops projects that blend fiction and documentary. She is currently directing her first fiction short film, TORTA.
Gretell Gonzalez
Gretell Gonzalez is a cinematographer and colorist. Her work is guided by light, color, and optics as expressive choices. She builds a distinct visual language for each project. Her films have premiered in national and international theaters and festivals. Notable works include Blues de la civilización, Tóxico Narcisista, and Luces. Luces received Best Comedy at the 7SIFF Festival. Her practice spans fiction, documentary, and music videos, always led by atmosphere and emotion.
